KRS European Youth Forum

Welcome to Kristiansand European Youth Forum! A week dedicated to democracy, human rights, and youth engagement! The KRS European Youth Forum will take place on May 3–4, 2025, with activities throughout Democracy Week from May 2–8 in Kristiansand. The youth forum provides a unique platform for young voices to be heard, with our discussions, ideas, and proposals presented as a call of action report to the European Conference on May 5.

Who are we?

Kristiansand European Youth Forum builds on the success of the KRS European Youth Forum, held for the first time in Kristiansand in May 2024. Created for youth, by youth, the forum addresses key topics like human rights, democracy, and participation in Europe. In 2024, the forum brought together 64 youth delegates from 20 European countries, aged 13–30, and contributed to the European Conference with its own rapporteur. It was a unique meeting space where young people could share ideas, learn about democratic tools, and network.

In collaboration with the University of Agder and the Municipality of Kristiansand, we invite youth from across Europe to join Democracy Week this year. Together, we will engage, reflect, and create solutions for the future.

We look forward to welcoming you to Kristiansand!
